The 4th Annual Montana Brews and BBQs takes place around the lake at MetraPark in Billings on Saturday, July 12, 2014, from 1:00 to 11:00 p.m.

The event expects to have over 70 Montana beers on hand along with multiple food vendors and live music.  Admission to the grounds is free.  A tasting glass and eight tokens will cost you $20.

Organizers are touting this as one of the only “true brewfests” in the State, defined as being outside and featuring kegged beer.  Don’t let the obvious fallacy* of this boast keep you from enjoying what is sure to be a great sunny day for enjoying any brewfest.

*  Off the top of my head I can count eleven other brewfests taking place this year in Montana which are also outside and feature kegged beer.
