Day one of Missoula Craft Beer Week was a great success with a sold out Bacon-N-Beer Breakfast at Draught Works Brewery followed by an energetic Brews on the Block (Party). Here are the events for Day two:
Montana Beer Blind Tasting: All Day || The Rhino. 158 Ryman St. $7 for a flight of four 7 oz. Montana-made beers. You just have to tell us which ones they are. Correct answers get a prize. Then we’ll draw from all the winners for a grand prize!
Kettlehouse Special Beer Releases: All Day || Kettlehouse (both locations). Kettlehouse house is kicking off Missoula Craft Beer Week with multiple special beer releases that will last as long as they last. Here is the beers being tapped on the NORTHSIDE: Brick and Mortar 2012 & 2013, “Noble Hopped” Double Haul w/ Hallartau hops, Whiskey Barrel Aged Cold Smoke. Here is what is being tapped at the SOUTHSIDE: Whiskey Barrel Aged Cherry Stout, Chinook Dry Hopped Eddy Out, Maibock.
Flathead Lake Brewing Company of Missoula Brewer’s Dinner: 6:00 p.m. Happy Hour; 7:00 p.m. Brewer’s Dinner. 424 North Higgins in the Galaxy Lounge. This is a four course dinner paired with four of Flathead Lake Brewing Company’s beers and discussion from FLBC’s brewers! Cost is $55 per person and there are only 50 tickets available. “The Beer Hunter” Movie Night with Bitter Root Brewing: 8:00 p.m. || Top Hat Lounge. 134 West Front St. Enjoy a free screening of The Beer Hunter, a documentary about one of the beer world’s most influental personalilties. Even better, Bitter Root Brewery is doing a tap take-over with beers not normally available on tap outside of the Hamilton brewery! All that with plenty of Top Hat’s excellent tapas available to curb your hunger.
