It’s last call for your chance to take part in the Montana Brewers Association’s Flathead Cruise with Charlie Papazian. There are a few tickets left for this Saturday’s event which includes a three hour cruise around Flathead Lake, live music, food, Montana craft beer and one of the legends of the brewing world.
Home brewers have long been acquainted with Charlie as the author of The Complete Joy of Home Brewing, a book I read and referenced often when getting into home brewing. He still homebrews and stay’s plenty busy as the founder and president of the Brewers Association and the Great American Beer Festival, among other pursuits.
As if the cruise around the lake wasn’t enough, the event is turning into quite the floating brewfest. Twelve breweries will be supplying forty beers to try during the evening, including beers from new breweries (Desert Mountain and Bridger Brewing Co.), new beers from “old” breweries (Great Northern and Tamarack) and even some brewers reserve from the cellar (Blackfoot River).
