It’s definitely not the biggest brewfest in Montana, but it’s hard to beat an excuse to make a trip to Big Sky, Montana, for music, beer and great scenery.
This Saturday, July 13, the Mountain Village at Big Sky hosts it’s annual summer brewfest from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. rain or shine. Of course, this time of year odds are greatly in your favor for the “sun” part of that equation.
Admission and the first 12 tasting tickets are $20. Additional tickets are $1 each. All ages are welcome to enjoy the music (for free). Headlining the music portion is Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, playing a blend of pop-rock with alt-country and other Americana flavors. The Two Bit Franks and The Congress will also be playing.
This year’s featured brewery is Ninkasi Brewing from Eugene, OR. Uhh . . . . well, you can’t fault Ninkasi for scooping up the sponsorship opportunities. Montana breweries attending include Bayern, Bitter Root, Bozeman, Bridger, Big Sky, Carter’s, Great Northern, Lewis & Clark, Lone Peak, Madison River, Red Lodge, Kettlehouse, and Harvest Moon. Deschutes, Snake River, Big Hole, Elysian, Grand Teton and other will also be in the house. Or grass.
Special room deals at Big Sky are available. For more information head to their website.
