Billings’ Ales for Trails is Friday, September 26

The Annual Ales for Trails brewfest, a benefit for BikeNet takes place this Friday, September 26 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Dehler Park in Billings, Montana.

More than 50 beers from across the region are expected along with a selection of wine and nonalcoholic beverages.  Five food vendors will also be on hand. Live music will be provided by four local bands.  Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in Uberbrew’s Silent Disco, where two disc jockeys join forces to entertain headphone-wearing dancers.

Proceeds from Ales for Trails are used to support the community’s biking and walking facilities including multi-use trails and bike lanes.

New this year, BikeNet has a special honor to those who use the trails and bike lanes to travel to Ales for Trails:  The VIP bike entrance, complete with red carpet, will be on the north side of Dehler Park and will open at 5:00 pm for bicyclists to purchase tickets and lock bikes securely inside the gates of the stadium.

To date, BikeNet has donated nearly $275,000 to construct new trails and stripe bike lanes with most of that money generated by the Ales for Trails event, held since 2000.

Tickets to Ales for Trails are $30 in advance (until Sept. 25, 2014 at midnight) and $35 on Friday. Pre-admission tickets are available at The Base Camp, The Spoke Shop, The Bike Shop, all Billings Anytime Fitness locations and online at this link.  For more information about the event, head here
