Beer Now Conference Shines Spotlight on Great Falls

Great Falls, Montana is getting ready to welcome 100+ beer writers, social media influencers, and other beer industry personnel from across the country for the 2019 Beer Now Conference on June 6-8.

Now it its 10th year, the conference has previously taken place in well-known beer destinations like San Diego, CA, Portland, OR, Boulder, CO, and Boston, MA, but now heads to a more rural area for a different slice of the beer world.

Conference sessions include Montana-focused topics explaining Montana’s malt and hop production and plenty of Montana brewed beer, and broader presentations with updates on the state of craft beer in the U.S. and tasty options including beer and cheese pairings.

The Conference coincides with Great Falls’ beer week and incorporates the Montana Brew Fest, one of the gems of the brew fest circuit thanks to its professional judging component which encourages brewers to bring some of their best stuff.

Pre and post-conference excursions will take attendees to Helena and Kalispell, respectfully, where the cities are putting on quite the effort to showcase more of Montana’s beers and travel destinations.

The Helena excursion includes a beer pairing dinner featuring all five of Helena’s breweries, a tour of the Capitol building, and a presentation on Montana’s brewing history project from the Montana Historical Society. The trip to Kalispell after the conference features a stop at Glacier National Park and a private event featuring beer from the Flathead Valley’s breweries and food trucks.

The Conference is presented by Zephyr Conferences which is a part of Zephyr Adventures, a Montana based company that runs active-focused tours around the world.
