Events for Day Six of Missoula Craft Beer Week

Wow! Missoula knocked it out of the park with last night’s inaugural Craft Beer Cup mini-golf tournament. What can you do for an encore today? Here’s the list:

FRIDAY, MAY 2

Big Sky Firkin Tapping: 4:00 p.m. || The Rhino. 158 Ryman St. Join Big Sky Brewing at the Rhino for a First Friday tapping of Pack Train Double IPA.

Iron on Patch Night with Ninkasi Brewing: 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. || The Rhino. 158 Ryman St. Join Ninkasi Brewing as they come in “hot” (with an iron) and are ready to iron on a brewery patch to whatever you bring them (that will accept a patch, mind you). Then enjoy the lineup of Ninkasi beers available. 

BUZZED BREWS: A Beer + Coffee Tasting: 4:00 p.m. || Kettlehouse Southside. 602 Myrtle. Black Coffee Roasting Co. and Kettlehouse Brewing Co. have teamed up for a coffee and beer tasting. This ticketed, limited event offers up two coffee beers and several coffee tastings, plus a little impromptu coffee/beer mixings. Get a little “buzz” on before First Friday. $20/person. Tickets on sale at Kettlehouse Southside on Wednesday 4/23. 

Iron Horse Brewery Beer Dinner: 5:00 and 7:30 p.m. || Burns St. Bistro. 1500 Burns St. Iron Horse Brewing (Washington) is joining forces with Missoula favorite, Burns St. Bistro, for a four-course beer dinner. Guests will go home with an Iron Horse Brewing glass and be entered to win a tour of the brewery and one night stay in Ellensburg, WA. $45. By reservation only. Two seatings available. ::MENU::

Wooden Barrel Tapping by Bayern: 5:30 p.m. || The Depot. 201 Railroad. Join the Bayern crew as they tap a wooden barrel of their latest seasonal, Dump Truck. 

Brews and Blades: 7:00 – 11:00 p.m. || Glacier Ice Rink. 1101 South Ave. W. Glacier Ice Rink has teamed up with Draught Works Brewery to hold ‘Brews and Blades’ at 7 pm. This event will showcase the long-standing relationship between Missoula hockey and beer, and will feature hockey games, figure skating exhibitions and of course, Draught Works beer! Admission for spectators is $5, which includes the first beer for those over 21. Pizza slices from Tarantino’s Pizzeria will also be available for purchase. Money raised from this event will be used to replace Glacier Ice Rink’s aging inventory of rental skates so they can continue to provide a quality skating experience for our community.
